The BBC are recording a version of \'Amazing Grace\' with various artistes to commemorate the Bicentenary of the slave trade abolition bill and have requested that the Beverley & District Pipe Band take part in this event. We will be filmed by the BBC at the Country Park Inn on Saturday 10 February. Sunday 18 February has been termed Amazing Grace Sunday and churches and groups have been requested to incorporate \'Amazing Grace\'into their services as a tribute to the abolitionist movement. The BBC are looking to record as many different versions and styles as possible to reflect culture in the Hull community and cut them together in the style of \'Perfect Day\'. The compilation will be shown on the \'Look North\' programme on 15 or 16 February.
