Do you want to learn to play the Bagpipes or Drums in the Hull / Beverley / East Yorkshire / North Lincolnshire area?
There are a number of our Pipers and Drummers that teach Piping and Drumming so if you are thinking of Learning to Play the Bag Pipes or Drums get in touch!
Recruitment is an on-going process and the band always welcomes newcomers. So regardless of the time of year, if you are thinking about learning the pipes or drums, then pop down to a practice night to listen to the band, and have a chat with the members.
Tuition is free for all who aspire to play with the band; however there is a small subscription to pay for band membership which covers the cost of practice venues.
The band meets on a Monday night at Leconfield Barracks and a Friday night at North Ferriby Parish Hall. Both nights start at 19:30 by learning new tunes, polishing up on old tunes and teaching learners. 20:30 brings a break for a drink and a chat, then the pipes and drums practice together from 21:00 to 22:00
